Anekajāti Gāthā (Verses of the Buddha’s Auspicious Victories)

Anekajāti saṃsāraṃ, sandhāvissaṃ anibbisaṃ;
Gahakārakaṁ gavesanto, dukkhā jāti punappunaṃ.
Gahakāraka diṭṭhosi, puna gehaṃ na kāhasi;
Sabbā te phāsukā bhaggā, gahakūṭaṃ visaṅkhataṃ;
Visaṅkhāra gataṃ cittaṃ, taṇhānaṃ khayamajjhagā.

Through many births I wandered in saṃsāra; seeking, but not finding
The builder of this house, painful is repeated existence!

Your rafters are broken! Your ridge-pole is shattered.
